Route
Zalkerveer & Theehuis is easily accessible on foot and by bike. Just follow the dike between Kampen and Zwolle. Approximately halfway (8 km from Zwolle, about 10 km from Kampen) you’ll find the Theehuis to relax from a beautiful promenade or cycling ride.
Prefer public transport?
Take bus 141 (Urk – Zwolle or vice versa) from Zwolle Station or Kampen Station and get off at ‘s-Heerenbroek Bisschopswetering. More information? www.connexxion.nl (bus company)
By car?
The Veecaterdijk (dike) is not accessible for cars. But don’t worry, very nearby a large parking is found. From the parking area, just cross the traffic lights and follow the green signposting with Zalkerveer (approx. 200 meters).
Coming from the direction of Kampen: take the N764 (Zwolseweg) in the direction of ‘s-Heerenbroek/Zwolle. As soon as you enter ‘s-Heerenbroek, turn left at the traffic lights (only one junction with traffic lights in the village). If you turn right directly afterwards, you’ll see the parking area in front of the town centre De Kandelaar.
Coming from the direction of Zwolle: take the N764 (Zwolseweg) in the direction of ‘s-Heerenbroek/Kampen. As soon as you enter ‘s-Heerenbroek, turn right at the traffic lights (only one junction with traffic lights in the village).
